Finally, a new InfiniteEel Original.
This is obviously, well, inspired by the original trailer here:
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Red Band Trailer
The more you know about the world, lore and story of the series, the more you will feel that this song fits our little alt-history earth well. Sunborn/Mica really did a great job.
The game is: Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium.
To go through with the parody, I had added in imperfectly synced cuts, cuts that begin a scene, switch to another scene, then cut back to the continuation of the previous scene. I even procured the MGSV subtitles font from somewhere in order to do that one part. It IS the exact font, but it looks kind of…different.
The thumbnail is in reference to MGSV snake’s appearance where he lifts up his NVG.
As for the start, I fully intended to use After Effect’s Keyframe camera on Griffin and Carter, but I ended up feeling that my skill in it is not good enough. See you on the next ORIGINAL video for that.
Speaking of “original”, sometimes I feel like I should do TRUE original content, but I am so used to making parodies and music-timing videos. In fact, that’s everything I do, basically. I honestly don’t feel like calling these “original” sometimes. But they are more original than lets say, translations or uploads of other people’s videos, which I always do.
I have always wanted to do this, but did not know how I should go about it.
Drawing? Animatic? Didn’t have time. 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, no time, was too lazy, things like that. The barrier of entry to making an entire animatic for this kind of thing is really high given my current level of drawing skill and impatience. Not sure if impatience is the correct word to talk about it, but it is hard for me to “begin” or “continue” doing some things. But once I start, I can go for hours, days on end. The initial edit for this started at 12am one day and continued to 4am. Fun time. Anyway, I should really be more productive. I laze off too much and don’t get much done. Hopefully, we will see me transform into a more effective creator and person.

By the way, I might do a bakery girl stream soon. Never finished the final stage and should probably challenge myself to actually do it.
