撮影：2013年3月１日 三重県伊勢市二見町「おひなさまめぐり in 二見」。夫婦岩で有名な三重県伊勢市の二見浦。その二見浦の春の風物詩『おひなさまめぐり in 二見』が毎年２月から３月まで約一ヶ月間開催される。展示参加施設は地元の商店や旅館、公共施設など94軒、全体で総計6,000体ものお雛様が二見浦の町並みを彩ります。中でも国の重要文化財にうもなっている賓日館では、展示される雛人形は、江戸・明治・大正・戦前の親王飾りや御殿飾りをはじめ、まさに雛人形の歴史博物館のように、美しく館内に展示される。

Hina matsuri (doll festival) in Futami
Hina Matsuri (doll festival) takes place on March 3 and celebrates “Girls’ Day”. this is the day families pray for the happiness and prosperity of their girls and to help ensure that they grow up healthy and beautiful.
It is also called Momo-no-Sekku (Peach Festival). Displayed on the a tiered doll-stand are gorgeous hina ningyo dolls together with miniature articles and furniture.
This festival had its origin about 1,000 years ago in the Heian Period. It is a traditional custom to display ceremonial dolls on tiers of shelves covered with scarlet carpet. These dolls are dressed in the fashion of the people of the ancient court.
