【茨城ツアー】ひたち海浜公園のコキアは5分咲きです☆2024年秋 10月12日
コキアが紅葉始めになりました。
Its Japanese name is Houki-gusa, and in the past, its stems were dried to make brooms.
The fruit is called “Tonburi” and is popularly known as “caviar of the field.” (*The kochia in this park are ornamental varieties.)
The lime green kochia grows vigorously in the summer sunshine from early July, and you can enjoy their cute, plump shape and soft texture. In early October, the leaves begin to change color from their summer green to red, and the gradation of green and red that changes daily is also attractive. The sight of the vibrant autumn leaves dyeing Miharashi Hill a deep red is also truly spectacular.
