宮城県気仙沼市、本吉町フェンシング協会に所属する齋藤利莉さんの自宅を訪ねた綾瀬はるかさん。お母さんと親戚の皆さんが迎えてくれました。利莉さんのオリンピック出場を夢見て、いつも応援してくれていた父・道利さんは東日本際震災で被災したけれど、今もきっと、そばにいてくれている。利莉さんは綾瀬さんを近くの海岸へ案内してくれました。その風景は、お父さんと一緒に散歩した頃と随分変わってしまったようです。

Haruka Ayase visited the home of Motoyoshimachi Fencing Club member Rirei Saito, and Rirei’s mother and many relatives were there to greet Ms. Ayase.
Rirei’s father, Michitoshi who always helped her toward her goal of fencing at the Olympics, died in the Great East Japan Earthquake, but his spirit is still with her. Rirei took Ms. Ayase to the nearby seashore that was drastically different from when she had walked there with her father.
