＜ビューティフルジャパン 愛知県 空手 篇＞
子供たちが稽古をする愛知県の空手道場を訪れた綾瀬はるかさん。まずは子供たちの元気のよい挨拶と礼儀正しさに感心した様子。今日は桑子師範、三厨師範の手ほどきを受け、綾瀬さんも空手の基本に挑戦します。声の出し方、手足の動き、なかなか難しそうですが、最後はビシッと決まりました。この道場では空での技だけでなく、謙虚さとリーダーシップ、生き方まで学んでほしいと師範は考えています。子供たちもその思いをきちんと受け止め、真摯にこの先の夢を語ってくれました。

Haruka Ayase visited the karate dojo in Aichi Prefecture while the kids were practicing. After a lively but formal greeting by the kids, she was given an introduction to karate by grand masters Kazuya Kuwako and Harue Mikuriya, then tried her hand at it. The yell and hands and feet movements were difficult but soon she could make sharp kata.
At this dojo, the grand masters think that not just technique, but also humility, leadership and a way of life should be taught. And, the kids completely accept it and talked earnestly about their future goals.
