映画「THE NEXT GENERATION パトレイバー 首都決戦」（押井守監督）のヒット御礼舞台あいさつが5月9日、東京都内で行われ、筧利夫さん、真野恵里菜さん、押井監督が登場した。
映画は、ゆうきまさみさんのマンガを原作にした人気アニメ「機動警察パトレイバー」を実写化した長編劇場版。2014年4月から全7章を今年1月まで順次公開しており、長編劇場版「首都決戦」はその集大成として製作された。最新鋭の自衛ヘリコプターを使うテロ集団が、首都1000万人を人質にとる中、旧型ロボットしか所持していない特車2課がテロを阻止していくというストーリーが描かれている。
