何もかも失った時に目に映った光景。それは、いつまでも変わらない自然の姿だった。波打つ海や、呼吸する森。決して止まらない時と共に、生命が永遠に受け継がれる場所。終わりと感じた瞬間は、遠い未来から見れば、きっと始まり。そう思える自分に出会うため、私は一歩踏み出す。
ニューヨークフェスティバル金賞などを受賞した8K/HDR作品「つくるということ」のカンテレUHD-worksによる、8K/HDR作品第二弾。深い表現力と凛とした存在感で、抽象的な詩の世界を彩ったのは、女優・白石聖。そして、作品を優しく包みこむ小瀬村晶の音楽。映像の新たな夜明けを予感させる8K/HDRショートフィルムの誕生。
“It was not the end, but the beginning.
When all is lost, the view before me, is the timeless shape of nature. Waves caressing the beach, forests breathing deeply. A place where life continues endlessly together with time that will never cease. An ending, seen from a distant future, may be a beginning. I take a step forward, to show myself this is true.”
This 8K/HDR short film is the latest work by the Kansai Television creative staff of “to make” which received many awards including Gold World Medal in the New York Festivals. Sei Shiraishi’s sensitive interpretation and strong presence bring vivid color to the abstract poetry of this work, and Akira Kosemura’s inspiring music gently enfolds it.
本作では、編集、カラーグレーディングなどポストプロダクションを、アビッドテクノロジー、フォトロンの多大なる協力を得てMedia Composer®とAvid NEXIS®で行いました。カメラは、国内初撮影となったRED RANGER MONSTRO 8Kを採用しました。
In this work, post production such as editing and color grading was performed using Media Composer ® and Avid NEXIS ® with great cooperation from Avid Technology and Photron. For filming, the RED RANGER MONSTRO 8K, was used in Japan for the first time.
