The actual name of Hana-chan’s island is やきゅうしようぜなか島 (Let’s play baseball Nakajima/Naka-island) which is a pun and it’s also a reference to an old anime called Sazae-san. Oonishi mentions Isono, who is another character in Sazae-san.
