＜ビューティフルジャパン 福岡県 卓球 篇＞
福岡県の石田卓球クラブを訪れた綾瀬はるかさん。まずは選手たちの模範プレーを見せてもらい、綾瀬さんもシングルス、ダブルスのゲームに挑戦！なかなか難しいようですが、サーブもスマッシュもサマになってきました。プレーの様子を動画撮影、子供達も目を輝かせてスロー再生に見入っています。ここでは全国から集まった子供たちが共同生活をしながら毎日卓球の練習に励んでいます。「家族で親友でライバル」「厳しくても仲間が声をかけてくれるから頑張れる」。選手たちの卓球への一生懸命な思いが伝わってきました。

Beautiful JAPAN Fukuoka Prefecture Table Tennis clip
Haruka Ayase visited the Ishida Table Tennis Club in Fukuoka Prefecture. First she watched the athletes play some games. Then she played some singles and doubles games! It seemed kind of difficult, but soon she could do a serve and smash. We made a video of the play and the kids really enjoyed the playback in slow motion. Here kids from throughout Japan single-mindedly practice table tennis while living a dorm life.
“The other kids are like family, close friends and rivals”. “Even though it’s tough I keep going because the other kids cheer me on.” We portrayed the athletes all out dedication to table tennis.
